Golfasian - Asian Golf Holiday Experts in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos & Myanmar

Now that I am safely back from my golfing holiday in Thailand, I wanted to write and thank you for arranging everything so well. Perhaps the best recommendation I can make is that I will put you top of my list for arranging a new golfing holiday next year.

I was very pleased with the accomodation at the Royal Princess hotel. The room was large and ample, with every extra being thoughtfully provided. Above all the hotel staff were all delightfully friendly and helpful.

The golf courses themselves were all really excellent apart perhaps from Lanna Sports and Gassan Marina, which will be very good by next year but at present is still being constructed. Clubs with a good starter and course marshall like the Royal Chiang Mai, Highlands and Gassan Khutan tend to let you start from differnet parts of the course to ensure you are not held up. One final comment; Gassan Khutan and Gassan Lake City are particularly hard for a high handicap golfer like myself (I play off 22) and I lost a lot of balls in the water on those courses. However, I was able to buy old used golf balls at 8 for 100 bahts so it was not too expensive when I made a poor shot and lost a ball!

To conclude, I would happily play all the courses again another year, except perhaps for Lanna; and I would make my top choices Highlands, Royal Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Lamphun, and Mae Jo and Chiang Mai Green Valley when they are not too busy.

Thank you once again for an excellent service,

Yours sincerely,
