Andrew comes at golf development from a different perspective, whilst he acknowledges technical skills play an important role in hitting great shots, he doesn’t see that as the be all and end all. According to Andrew the first question he asked himself when he started coaching was ‘what drives physical movement?’, the conclusion was that whilst the golfing industry has done a great job and gone into amazing, detailed analysis of the movements, the way the information is presented, taught and practiced doesn’t match with the science and research on how we both learn and create performance as humans…
As it turns out, reaching your personal potential isn’t quite as complicated as you thought! More importantly the whole thing should be fun and that is Andrew’s objective, create a great environment and enjoy engaging with playing golf.
