Golfasian - Asian Golf Holiday Experts in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos & Myanmar
Coming from England we have reds tees for juniors and ladies, yellows for men and general play and whites for competitions. Not in Asia – There can be four, five or six sets if tees at each golf course! However choosing the right one can have a big impact on your golf holiday. Look at the yardages and course map before you start or ask us what we think. If I’m hosting a group or playing the odd game I always suggest a tee box based on level and what the customers want out of the game. Booking with Golfasian you aren’t just booking a tee time it’s the whole service. On a side note if coring of greens is due or course maintenance we will always inform you it’s going on and recommend alternatives. Long carries, water hazards come into play from different tees and if you are here to enjoy your golf or in a serious tournament it’s worth taking time to think or ask. One recent group played at Eastern Star in Pattaya from the White tees, a test for any golfer! The feedback afterwards was it’s a beautiful but really tough course and we’re not sure we would go back there. I took them back the following week, suggested playing from the yellow tee markers and the group have requested the course for their annual trip next year.
