The Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao is a true country course originally created by Denis Griffiths and recently upgraded by Pirapon Nimatra, famed for creating Banyan Golf Club in Hua Hin. The Greenwood Golf & Resort or Noble Place as it was known is a demanding course located in Ban Bung and designed by Peter Thomson in 1994. Even though there are not many water hazards, they have more than made up for it with masses of sand and through very clever use of reeds and heavy rough. With lots of fairway undulations it gives the Greenwood Golf course a links feel to this hilly parkland setting during cloudy days with a typically British feel to it. The Khao Kheow Country Club located in Bangpra, Pattaya was designed by Pete Dye and is considered to be a long course surrounded by lush vegetation and low hills.
