A great course, My caddy was great with lining up the putts and giving me the correct line to hit off the Tee Box and approach shots.

although ranked number 5 by our golfers is a pretty good course. Lacks a little conditioning and the pin locations we had on our visit were horrific, spoilt so many good holes.

Tough course but with the right caddie you can find your way to a good score. Great service, quality locker room, and the food was amazing.

I think this course is designed purposely to be extremely difficult. I am a 11 handicap and would not play this course again.

Although we were warned about poor condition and limited service, our experience was entirely positive. In my opinion, the course was in good condition.

Staff were good but the course was not in as good condition as the others we played. Fairways were a bit patchy and lots of maintenance going on.

I was probably a little disappointed with this track. I understand and appreciate that courses need coring and sanding but generally the upkeep wasn’t in the same league as the one’s I’ve mentioned. The pro shop ,though better than Dalat at 1200, had very limited range. New Titleist drivers for sale were 2013,2015 and 2017 models????

I’ve played ML six times so I’m used to the layout and perhaps don’t rate it as highly as I should. Generous fairways, but too much paspalum grass as rough, it is difficult to play from if not used to it.

Love the course, the facilities, the caddies and the location. Very expensive however...rates are at the highest end of our budget. If they go up further we may look at alternatives.

The Montgomerie Links, located just off historical Danang Beach and minutes from the Danang City, is a stunning 7090 yard par-72 golf course. The course was rated as one of Asia’s ten most elite courses by the 2012 Forbes Travel Guide and most recently voted as 'Vietnam's Best Championship Course 2013' by the Vietnam Golf Magazine. Since then, yearly awards are common for Montgomerie.
Nearby Hoi An, known for being a UNESCO World Heritage site, also has a fantastic beachscape, making the perfect palette for this links-style course. Locals know the Montgomerie Links Vietnam as Monty Links, which gives golfers the feeling of being in Ireland or Scotland without the cold temperatures of the British Isles! The first golf course in central Vietnam takes advantage of its proximity to both the Vietnam East Sea and the Marble Mountains; the latter is visible from many points.
Eight-time European Tour Order of Merit winner Colin Montgomerie, better known as Monty to his worldwide fan base, has massaged massive greens and rippled fairways into the stunning backdrop, setting up a golfer's course. Montgomerie Links has outstanding natural features. The sandy soil, wind-blown dunes, and indigenous vegetation combine in creating the framework for this links-style golf course along the Vietnam East Sea. Only a few other flagship layouts in Dubai, Ireland, and Wales can boast the Montgomerie namesake.
A product of Royal Troon in Scotland, a British Open rotation mainstay, Monty has implemented classic, old-world design elements into the Danang golf course, such as rolling, treeless fairways, thick rough, massive greens, and tight chipping areas. Among the memorable holes are 7 and 13, a pair of par-4's with some of the deepest bunkers on the course. The only departure from tradition comes in several lakes and streams, a must when considering the region's seasonably high water table. The course caters to players of all abilities as holes routed through an incredibly natural formation of dunes, heartlands, and seaside vegetation.
In addition to Colin Montgomerie's championship golf course, there is a large contemporary clubhouse, comprehensive driving range/practice facility, and residential development called The Estates at the Montgomerie Links.
Golf course specialists manage the course, which ensures excellent quality and superb conditions year-round. Montgomerie Links Vietnam is a must-play for anyone on a golf holiday in Danang or Hoi An.
