Jumeirah Golf Estate, Earth Course Description:

Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Earth course is home to the DP World Tour Championship, the culmination of The Race to Dubai and European Tour Season. Designed by Greg Norman, this 18-hole, par 72 golf course was voted the 82nd best course in the world in Golf Digest’s ‘World’s Top 100 Golf Courses’. It was also voted sixth place on Golf Digest Middle East’s ‘Top 10 Courses: 2018 Readers’ Choice’.

Earth is a very long course – from the Championship tees, it is 7,675 yards – and while it is fun to go back and look at the shots the pros have to make, it’s best to choose a different colour to play from, unless you have unlimited golf balls and patience.

As you would expect, the changing rooms are very comfortable. Buggy rental is essential in the hotter months and for the long distances between holes. Take advantage of the GPS-enabled technology in the buggy which tells you when you are 150 yards from the pin and allows you to order food and drink on the course. With some 99 white sand bunkers, rolling fairways and contrasting deep red ochre landscape, the course is picture perfect. The clubhouse houses a restaurant and grill with both indoor and outdoor tables and a sports bar that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Recent trip to Phuket, everything organised by Golfasian, except flights. 3 courses in 3 days, all went without a hitch, from Pick up at Airport straight to the 1st course with plenty of time to spare till our Tee off thanks to their timely pick up and suggested Tee time. All on ground from then on went like clockwork, pick up at hotels, drop off at the courses and then back to the hotel. All the courses were expecting us and were well prepared, which made things extremely easy. Well organised, on time and stress free...what more can you wish for?

Just back from a 4 night trip to Phuket for 54 holes of golf, at Blue Canyon (Lakes Course), Laguna and Loch Palm. All fantastically organised (flights excluded) by Win. We started with 7 people went down to 5 and then back up to six, and then 1 departing a day early. All the changes were handled smoothly and with out complaint by the Golfasian team. From arrival to departure everything was smooth and on time. I've already recommended their services to another group looking for a trip later in the year. This group will be back again. Niki at GolfAsian Thailand put together our golf itinerary on extremely short notice and every part of the experience was efficient and smooth. From organizing the itinerary, managing payments, being picked up at the hotel by fantastic drivers (Sombat and Rocky in Hua Hin are great!), picked up after our round in a timely manner...all of it was fantastic! I recommend you email or call Golfasian directly because my first encounter with them through their online chat was absolutely awful. But I gave them a second chance and Niki came to our rescue.
