Al Hamra Golf Club Description:

Located on the shores of the Arabian Gulf in Ras Khaimah, Alhamra Golf Club was UAE’s first 18-hole golf course when it opened in 2007.Designed by Peter Harradinem, this par-72, championship course weaves its way around four inter-connected lagoons. Reportedly, 5 million cubic meters of sand and soil were moved during construction of the course.

From the tips, the course measures 7,352 yards and offers golfers 5 different colored tees to play from. Water hazards come into play on a number of holes, most notably at the par-5, 18th, where water threatens from the tee to the green.

Other facilities at Hamra Golf Club include a driving range and a 9-hole, par 3 academy golf course which is floodlit to enable night golf. If you are looking for a place to socialize and have a quick snack and a drink after a game, The Bay Sports Bar is the place to go. If you are looking for some outstanding food then the Pesto Restaurant with it’s international menu will not disappoint. This par 72 Championship course offers an enjoyable round of golf for golfers of all levels and abilities.

Went with my brother and our non-golfing wives on a weeklong golf and cultural holiday in Hanoi. Superb attention to detail by Sophie who was very patient as we made several changes prior to finalization of booking. Drivers were very prompt and friendly. Tour guide "Hiro" who led us to an exploration of Hanoi military history was awesome and we learned so much from him. Played Dai Lai Star and BRG Legend, great design and scenery. Enjoyed also our cruise of Halong Bay. Just wish we had the time to play another round or 2. We are now planning a golf trip to either Penang, Phuket or Yogyakarta and cant wait to use GolfAsian again.

Well , I guess for the limited golf courses , I played here in the Philippines , some OF them are comparable to the golf courses , I played in California , U.S.A . Included also , some in Nevada and Arizona .
