Kirinara Golf Course
A 9 hole Japanese designed golf course, 'Kiri' means mountain, while 'Nara' refers to water or prosperity. 'Kirinara' therefore captures the essence of Kirinara Golf Course particularly the surrounding scenery.
Coincidently, an untouched stream from the mountain is the main source of water that feeds into the golf course. Kirinara designed preserves the surrounding nature. These natural qualities provide both beauty and challenges on each hole. The combination of long and short holes in addition to dense palm trees, water hazards, undulating greens, and mountainous slopes makes an exciting round of golf.
The par-4 fourth hole is a standout. The signature hole plays 450 yards to an island green. Here a smart move is a layup shot with a close chip and one putt. Otherwise, a risky second shot often winds up in the water with a bogey or worse.
Kirinara is an ideal getaway for golf in Khao Lak. The golf course provides a nice round with local scenery and culture for a complete golfing experience.
