Dancoon Golf Club is a regulation 18-hole golf club in Khon Kaen and is conveniently located 15 kilometers from the Khon Kaen city center or 10 minutes by car from the Khon Kaen airport. Opened in 2008, Dancoon was the first international visitor-friendly facility in Thailand’s northeast section of Issan. Two years later Dancoon Golf Club hosted the 2010 Asian Seniors.

Royal Creek Golf Club and Resort is an 18-hole championship course 20 minutes from Udon Thani's international airport and 15 minutes from downtown. Royal Creek is the first international standard golf resort in Udon Thani, Thailand and raises the bar on golf in Issan.Formerly a rice paddy, the site is scattered with human-made lakes, reservoirs, and creeks that frame many of the holes.

Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club is located in Thailand’s north-east province of Khon Kaen and is around 400 kilometers from Bangkok. The Issan golf course started out as a waste disposal area for the adjacent Singha Beer brewery. When a marsh-land could no longer support the distillery runoff water, the owners decided to put the land and water to good use by constructing a golf course.

Victory Park Golf & Country Club built in 1997 was the first 18-hole golf course in Nong Khai province and near the Thai border with Laos. The Issan golf course has a nice, albeit flat, layout, with well-maintained greens set in a natural environment. Several regional golf tournaments played at Victory Park include the Heineken Amateur Thailand Championship, Singha Issan Championship, and Nivea Sun for British Open.

Wing 23 Golf Club, operated by the Thai military, first brought the game to this part of North-Eastern Thailand in 1991. The short 9-hole layout is flat and fun for a day out, especially for less competitive golfers. Traditional courses require walking, and Wing 23 is no exception as golf carts are unavailable.
