Mae Jo Golf Club Description:
(strategic design with tree-lined fairways)

Mae Joe Golf Club located at Mae Jo University, the oldest agricultural college in Chiang Mai, is only a 20-minute drive from Chiang Mai. The course is very popular with golfers looking for an enjoyable layout.

Excellent views of Doi Suthep and other mountains surround the golf course. With thousands of fruit trees and orchids alongside its fairways, the golf course looks good. The kiosk at the 14th hole has a dream view as does the 15th tee.

Seni Thirawat, Mae Jo's course designer, is a famous local Thai golf course architect. The Mae Jo golf course he designed is well suited for golfers of all abilities. Narrow fairways with Zoysia grass are perfect for low handicap players. Several water hazards and doglegs, as well as long par 5’s, require a demanding game. The sizeable Korean Velvet grass greens are often with a slope.

The clubhouse is modern Lanna Style offers a restaurant, golf lodge, and friendly service. Extensive practice facilities including driving range, putting and chipping green, and bunkers in a proper order allowing golfers to hit a few balls before their round at Mae Jo.

Just back from a 4 night trip to Phuket for 54 holes of golf, at Blue Canyon (Lakes Course), Laguna and Loch Palm. All fantastically organised (flights excluded) by Win. We started with 7 people went down to 5 and then back up to six, and then 1 departing a day early. All the changes were handled smoothly and with out complaint by the Golfasian team. From arrival to departure everything was smooth and on time. I've already recommended their services to another group looking for a trip later in the year. This group will be back again. The first part of my trip was a golf trip that was changed significantly due my traveling companion change of plans. Bee handled all the changes, including changes to courses played and hotels in multiple cities, quickly and efficiently. The second part was holiday only with my wife and 2 friends. Just back from great 3 week trip with Golfasian, visiting Hua Hin, Bangkok and Pattaya. Golf Asian arranged everything from arrival at Bangkok airport to departure.
