Mae Jo Golf Club Description:
(strategic design with tree-lined fairways)

Mae Joe Golf Club located at Mae Jo University, the oldest agricultural college in Chiang Mai, is only a 20-minute drive from Chiang Mai. The course is very popular with golfers looking for an enjoyable layout.

Excellent views of Doi Suthep and other mountains surround the golf course. With thousands of fruit trees and orchids alongside its fairways, the golf course looks good. The kiosk at the 14th hole has a dream view as does the 15th tee.

Seni Thirawat, Mae Jo's course designer, is a famous local Thai golf course architect. The Mae Jo golf course he designed is well suited for golfers of all abilities. Narrow fairways with Zoysia grass are perfect for low handicap players. Several water hazards and doglegs, as well as long par 5’s, require a demanding game. The sizeable Korean Velvet grass greens are often with a slope.

The clubhouse is modern Lanna Style offers a restaurant, golf lodge, and friendly service. Extensive practice facilities including driving range, putting and chipping green, and bunkers in a proper order allowing golfers to hit a few balls before their round at Mae Jo.

Golfasian dealt with our entire trip to Bangkok, we were given an agent who dealt with all our questions and many changes to cater for a group of 8. We just spent 3days our annual golf event (23pax) in Chiangmai with Golfasian.
Say....it was brilliant arrangement, all guys of Golfasian performed with professional manners and sincere hospitality. All schedule went on smoothly and all our participants were so happy.

This was our second trip organised by GolfAsian and hopefully not the last. Our contact, Jim, has been very helpful and patient with various changes in our plans. All 8 of us were very happy with the golf courses and hotel accommodation. The pickups were flawless and the drivers always very competent. Highly reccomend this company.

Chris recommended I change my hotel accommodations and allow Golfasian to arrange my Bangkok trip and golf tee times. I'm so glad I did because the hotel, the transportation, and the four golf courses they arranged were excellent. I was in the Soi 11 area, so everything was within walking distance. I had a great time for my first visit to Thailand, and I will certainly use Golfasian again for my golf trip to Pattaya next year.
