Best Ocean Golf Club

The links-style course is in fact quite scary and certainly not one for beginning golfers or any golfer having a bad day.  From the tips the 7200 yard Bangkok golf course is nearly impossible, save for the most accomplished players. Many of the holes have water on both sides of the fairway, and the sea breeze only helps errant shots find trouble.

The Best Ocean course has tight fairways and elevated greens that demand well-struck drives and accurate approach shots. Planning and strategy from the tee and nerve on the shot to the green go a long way to a good score. There is water on every hole with most holes even having water left and right. This course demands straight and accurate drives; else golfers should be warned to bring lots of extra balls. 

Without a doubt, the best hole on the course is the par-3 17th, which would not be out of place on the PGA tour. The hole plays 230 yards over water to a wide but shallow green protected by large bunkers in front. 

The pro shop, clubhouse, and practice facilities are all adequate. However, the real draw here is the golf course itself.

Every Thailand golfer needs to try this course at least once, if not for fun, then at least for the challenge. Just be sure to bring a lot of extra golf balls.
