Ayutthaya Golf Club located in Ayutthaya Province is around 1:30 from Bangkok center. The locally designed and well-maintained course is relatively easy to play with generous fairways and large greens. Outside the playing area is short rough in which balls sit up nicely. The 13th hole is a long 495 yard par-4 and the most challenging on the course. Care should be taken to avoid the water hazard on the left side. The second shot is a long carry to a well-guarded green.

The clubhouse and other facilities are better than most area courses, and the dry sauna in both the men’s and ladies changing rooms is a nice touch usually on reserved for higher priced Thai golf courses. A basic restaurant serves up tasty local and international dishes.

The Ayutthaya Golf Club is well-suited for high handicappers and Bangkok golfers looking for an enjoyable golf experience at a reasonable price.

Very nice course, lots of water but big enough fairways that you can usually keep the ball dry. Fast and smooth greens, very nice staff. I had Tom #125 for a caddy. He was one of the best caddies I have had in Thailand. It is much better than Chuan Chuen and is about the same price!
