Nuwara Eliya Golf Club

The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, founded in 1889, is one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia. It is an institution, rich in tradition, history and carries an ambience unparalleled in this country.

Founded, primarily for their rest and recreation, by the British planters who opened up the land for tea in the Nuwara Eliya district, to this day it caters to some of the customs and traditions of the country’s colonial past.

Royal Colombo Golf Club

The Royal Colombo Golf Club is a leading 140 year old private members club in Sri Lanka which takes pride in being the 2nd Oldest Royal Golf Club outside the United Kingdom.

Shangri-La Hambantota Golf Club

Shangri-La’s Golf & Country Club in Hambantota, Sri Lanka, will unveil the island’s first resort golf course on 1st October 2016, when it opens the remaining nine holes of its ecological 18-hole course. Designed by Rodney Wright on a former sapphire mine, the course will be the first of its kind in Sri Lanka, set within the hotel grounds of Shangri-La’s Hambantota Resort & Spa, which opened to guests on 1st June 2016.

Spread across a vast coconut palm plantation, it offers spectacular views and distinctive challenges for both beginners and seasoned players.

Our Danang golf tour has just finished. We played the 4 great courses there, and played them twice. Our group was 10 pax, from being met at the airport and being delivered to our hotel, and then for our 8 days of golf, everything was perfect. I would like to specially thank Miss Huong who did so much to help us before and during our tour, and also our driver/tour guide Lucky who is not only a lovely man, but was funny, full of knowledge which he was happy to share with us, and he is a great and safe driver. Our small party of 4 did a 4 day golf tour, 1 day at Thai Country Club in Bangkok, then 3 days in Hua Hin covering Imperial Lakeview Resort, Banyan and Black Mountain. Golf Asian did a 1st class job of all the arrangements including golf bookings, hotels and transportation. Their service is highly recommended and at a reasonable cost.
