Once a pineapple plantation owned by this world-famous company
Del Monte Golf Course and Country Club was built back in 1928, and is located within the enormous Del Monte Plantation of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
The first nine holes of the course were built surprisingly by Professional Basketball Player called Peter Crawford. While its last nine holes was built by the country’s legendary golfer, Celestino Tugot. Upon its completion, it became the areas only and first full golf course.
The 18-hole golf course is an all-weather layout, that is perfect to play at any time of the day, and on any day of the year. It is a medium size course, and you can choose to play a 9 hole or an 18-hole round
Magnificent Setting
It’s a magnificent setting with man-made lakes, pine trees, and greens are recognized features of the course. However, hazards abound here with sand traps, undulating fairways and verdant roughs. Watch out around holes no. 7 and no.16, known as the Waterloo and Warne Hole.
The course is fairly cool being situated approximately 600 meters above sea level.
Its clubhouse has a pro shop, where it provides golf equipment for players and restaurants, bars, and massage rooms.
After your round it is a great place of course for a cool glass of Del Monte Pineapple juice too!
