Fontana and Apollon Korea Country Club

Located just 28 minutes’ drive North West from Angeles City, and close to the former US Airbase in Clark Special Economic Zone Pampanga, is the Fontana and Apollon Korea Country Club.

The club built in 2012 is a massive 36-hole golf course that is internationally ran, and managed by Korean companies.

Enormous Greens

The fairways are covered by two types of grass, the Carabao grass and the Zoysia grass. Experience golf in the bowl-shaped fairways and enormous greens that truly makes this golf course an enjoyable playing challenge.

The golf club’s 441-yard signature hole number 16 is definitely what most like forward to. Not only is the hole long, but it actually designed in the shape of Korea, with the green symbolizing the beautiful Jeju Island. To play here, you must make sure to accurately aim your first shot off the tee.

Flag Shaped Green

Hole Number 18’s green and bunker have been designed to create the Korea’s national flag.

There is also a short 9-hole course has only 1,896 yards, designed over rolling terrains, which helps to add a bit of challenge to the course even if you are not a beginner. It also has small and well-maintained elevated greens.

The three-story clubhouse of the golf club has a balcony that offers a breathtaking view of the uniqueness of the course. Their facilities include a pro shop, pool, lockers, spa, driving range, restaurant, lounge, and a VIP suite.

Perhaps not up there with the best, but still offers a fun a day out on a golf course.
