Royale Jakarta Golf Club Description:

Royale Jakarta Golf Club is located just 15 minutes from central Jakarta and accessible via the toll road. One of the new Jakarta golf courses, Royale Jakarta, was designed as a world-class championship course from day one.

The course is the permanent home and venue for the Indonesian Masters. Additionally, Royal Jakarta was awarded Best Course in Indonesia at the 2011-2014 Asian Golf Awards and the Indonesian 2011 Tourism Awards.

Consisting of three 9-hole courses (North, South, and West) with a mountain backdrop, Royale Jakarta Golf Club challenges for all types of golfers. Royal Jakarta's lush, manicured fairways and rolling greens were the first in Asia to use Sea Isle Supreme Paspalum grass. This turf covers the entire course including– tee boxes, rough, fairway and greens and provides year-round excellent playing surfaces and consistent green speeds.

The 27-hole JMP Design course was initially flat land. Now, however, after significant earth mounding, planting of mature trees, creating water hazards, and adding fairway and greenside bunkering, Royale Jakarta is a joy to play. Any combination of the three nines is excellent. The best holes are the 9th holes on the South and West Courses. Each hole is a reachable par-5 that can settle many matches with careful strategy. They play across the main lake back to the clubhouse.

After golf, Royale Jakarta Golf Club is an ideal place to relax. The contemporary clubhouse is a modern, tropical style with every golfer amenity available. These include spacious locker rooms, sauna area, massage facilities, 300-meter driving range, short game practice area, and well-stocked pro shop. The Royale Palace restaurant is another highlight of the golf club. The restaurant is rated one of the top dining venues in Jakarta for its gourmet Chinese food.

One final note, Royale Jakarta has a great membership philosophy. Actually there are no permanent members, but rather Royale Jakarta provides all visiting golfers a member for a day experience and is a must-play for all golfers considering a Jakarta golf package.

Our Danang golf tour has just finished. We played the 4 great courses there, and played them twice. Our group was 10 pax, from being met at the airport and being delivered to our hotel, and then for our 8 days of golf, everything was perfect. I would like to specially thank Miss Huong who did so much to help us before and during our tour, and also our driver/tour guide Lucky who is not only a lovely man, but was funny, full of knowledge which he was happy to share with us, and he is a great and safe driver. The first part of my trip was a golf trip that was changed significantly due my traveling companion change of plans. Bee handled all the changes, including changes to courses played and hotels in multiple cities, quickly and efficiently. The second part was holiday only with my wife and 2 friends. Golfasian handled our 3 country, 4 city visits exceptionally well. They arranged tours and quickly responded to several changes we made both before and during the trip. Drivers were prompt and all of them and our tour guides were excellent. I recommend Golfasian not only for a golf trip, but for anyone traveling to SE Asia.
