Majestic Creek Country Club
Majestic Creek Country Club is set in the foothills 20 kilometers west of Hua Hin. The journey towards the course offers rural views of Thai life including sugar cane, tapioca, and pineapple plantations and farms. Majestic Creek has surrounding natural scenery. Valleys in the nearby mountains supply water to the maze of streams winding around the course, and the builders have been careful to preserve them as natural hazards; which makes for some tricky shots over water.
The 7,123-yard layout provides a range of different, well-designed challenges to the player. Low handicappers will especially appreciate the challenging tee shots as many involve long water carries over lakes. Almost all the holes have water hazards (small ponds or creeks) as well as excellent bunkering. For a good score, precise shots and good nerves are required. On the other hand, the palm tree-lined fairways are firm which gives for significant roll-out on well-struck drives.
Notable holes include the final Course B hole; a long 588 yard par-5 that demands a long and accurate tee shot to find the ideal fairway position. A stream and a lake crossing come before taking the putter out of the bag. The negation of the narrow final green that slopes steeply from back to the front is required to complete the round. The C course should not be overlooked either with a great layout, nudging the mountains backing onto the Pranburi Dam. The waterfall on the signature par-3 5th hole is always a conversation point. The final noteworthy hole is the Course B par-4 6th. Off the tee, a gentle fade to a fairway slightly sloped from left to right allow perfect ball position. Try not to cut the dogleg; it is not worth it. Turn the corner and enjoy one of the most attractive looking shots at Majestic Creek. Finding the correct level on a three-tiered green offers an excellent chance for birdie. Poorly struck approach shots are swept into bunkers both right and left.
The renovated clubhouse at Majestic Creek offers a full range of rental equipment, locker rooms, well-stocked pro shop, and golfer's cafe. Other facilities include two putting greens, a chipping area, and a grass driving range. Allowed sharing of golf buggies ensures a great sociable Hua Hin golf experience.

Majestic Creek Country Club is a challenging course that was once rated by a German golf magazine as a Hua Hin’s best golf course. Many Hua Hin locals and expatriates share this view. Designed by Dr. Sukkitti Klangvisai, an experienced Thai golf course designer who is also responsible for Phuket's Loch Palm, Majestic Creek is arguably the best laid out golf course in Hua Hin. Major renovations covering all 27-holes undertaken in 2012 include some of Hua Hin’s best Tifeagle turfed greens.
