This course permanently closed!The Desaru Golf & Country Resort is reached by easy access either from Johor Bahru by road or Singapore by car ferry. Established in 1984 and relatively short at 6,043 meters par-72, this is Johor's second oldest 18-hole golf course.  Robert Trent Jones Jr, the renowned American golf course architect, clearly recognized that nature was doing most of the work for him at Desaru.

Desaru Coast, located on the South East of Peninsular Malaysia, is just 1 hour from downtown Johor or 1 hour 45 minutes by road from Singapore.
 
The Ocean Course offers 27 holes of tournament-ready golf designed by Ernie Els. Golfers experience three distinctly different 9-hole courses, the Lakes (Par 36), Coast (Par 36), and the Ridge (Par 37).
