Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort Description:

Located at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level, Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort has a cool climate all year round, with an average temperature of 18-25 degrees Celsius. Perfect golf conditions make the two-hour drive from Hanoi worth the effort. A bypass road connecting Tam Dao, Thanh Lanh, and Dai Lai golf areas makes several excellent golf clubs easily reachable.

Thanh Lanh Golf Club is a Vietnam masterpiece of famous designer Sir Nick Faldo. Nick Faadlo and his team incorporated the local natural terrain of Thanh Lanh Lake and the surrounding valley of the Tam Dao mountains. At Thanh Lanh, golfers play distinct sections, including water surrounded, hillside, parkland, and a short section of Links golf. A peninsula over Thanh Lanh Lake houses the most specular holes. Returning nines both play out and back and share in the beauty of the site. The finishing holes play along the lake's shoreline to the clubhouse with a magnificent mountain backdrop.

Faldo incorporated natural streams and contour to create interest and variety in shotmaking. And while the course can stretch to more than 7,000 yards, five sets of tees and generous width make sure the course is playable for golfers of all abilities.

The Serena Valley Resort clubhouse resembles a middle-aged castle looking out over the finishing holes at Thanh Lanh. Modern elements such as accent lighting, well-stocked VIP areas, and a complete pro shop are included but hidden from the external view. Private resort villas are behind the clubhouse and available for rent on both short and long-term tenures.

Golf in Hanoi is not complete without playing in the northern Tam Dao Mountains, and Thanh Lanh Valley is the top regional golf course. Most golfers opt for a day trip out and back from the center of Hanoi and allow 10-12 hours to take in the golf and scenery along the way.

Golf Tour Packages in Hanoi

We were in Bali for 4 nights and 5 days golfing trip, had a wonderful holiday. Golfasian's service is super from booking, transport, accomodation and golf games. Thanks for yet another fabulous golf holiday in Thailand. This was our 6th and probably our best yet. This time we were a group of 18 visiting Hua Hin and Phuket. We all loved Banyan and Black Mountain (HH) and Red Mountain & Blue Canyon in Phuket. All the hotels we stayed at - Sofitel (Bkk) Centara (HH) & Angsana (Phuket) were fabulous. The transportation to and from the courses and additional transportation to other places of interest were on time and efficient. Lit who set up our programme and Bua our on-the-ground guide were enthusiastic and a pleasure to deal with. Everything went without a hitch, according to the schedule that Lit had assiduously set up for us. Thanks to Golfasian for their attention to detail and meticulousness. In doing so, you took the stress out of travelling in a large group where things can go horribly wrong very quickly. Because the planning was so thorough, you made everything enjoyable, stress free and fun. We're already planning for next year.
