Tropicana Golf & Country Resort Description:
(27 hole Graham Marsh design with floodlights)

The Tropicana Golf & Country Resort's 27-hole championship golf course is known to be among the best in the country, with many Kuala Lumpur golfers including this a stop on their golfing itinerary.

At the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, golf is played day and night as comes 18 of the 27 holes are floodlight. There are two courses complete with rolling hills and sweeping valleys, each designed to USGA specifications, which offer golfing pleasure to players of all abilities. The nine-hole East Course and the 18-hole West Course feature strategically located sand and water hazards amidst picturesque holes and rolling greens.

Frequent rain is the norm in Malaysia, but the excellent drainage system of the courses avoids long delays after rain. Generally, play can be resumed in only 10 - 15 minutes after a tropical downpour. Golf continues as the night falls under the non-glare floodlights, a high-tech lighting system is similar to that used in the Barcelona Olympics.

Overall, the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort is a friendly club with a decent 27 hole golf course.

Thanks for yet another fabulous golf holiday in Thailand. This was our 6th and probably our best yet. This time we were a group of 18 visiting Hua Hin and Phuket. We all loved Banyan and Black Mountain (HH) and Red Mountain & Blue Canyon in Phuket. All the hotels we stayed at - Sofitel (Bkk) Centara (HH) & Angsana (Phuket) were fabulous. The transportation to and from the courses and additional transportation to other places of interest were on time and efficient. Lit who set up our programme and Bua our on-the-ground guide were enthusiastic and a pleasure to deal with. Everything went without a hitch, according to the schedule that Lit had assiduously set up for us. Thanks to Golfasian for their attention to detail and meticulousness. In doing so, you took the stress out of travelling in a large group where things can go horribly wrong very quickly. Because the planning was so thorough, you made everything enjoyable, stress free and fun. We're already planning for next year.
