It's tough from staring hole to finish. All of the crucial holes feature large pot bunkers with deep sand. Moreover, fairways edge dropoffs and greens undulations make scoring well even more difficult.Paspalum grass used from tee to green is lush but requires long carries as rolls are uncommon. The best hole at Blue Star is #6, a long par-4 surrounded by five large greenside bunkers. A bogey here could be a good result.Overall, Blue Star might not be as manicured or stylish as some. The Kanchanaburi course has shortcomings with extreme golf challenges.The facilities and caddie service are average as locals are the only players most days. Green fees are low, but that would be the only reason to play Blue Star over neighboring courses.
