Opened at the end of 2003, Lung Tan Golf Club is one of Taiwan's youngest and most celebrated golf courses. Designed by renowned American course architect J. M. Poellot, who has over 200 designs globally, Long Tan has quickly earned high marks for its superb course maintenance, clubhouse amenities, and exceptional service.
Conveniently located just off Freeway 3, Lung Tan Golf Club is only a five-minute drive from the Longtan Interchange. Situated on the gentle terrain of Longtan, Taoyuan, the course features predominantly flat surfaces with minimal elevation changes. This design places a significant emphasis on water hazards, seamlessly blending with the natural surroundings to create a visually stunning layout.
The course’s well-planned design includes lakes and ponds of various sizes that enhance the lush fairways, dense tree lines, and the breathtaking backdrop of Shimen Mountain with its layered clouds. The strategic layout is challenging yet accessible, offering a rich golfing experience without being overly difficult.
Golfers at Long Tan will appreciate the careful balance between playability and natural beauty. The course’s gentle undulations, combined with its water features and tree-lined fairways, provide a serene and enjoyable golfing experience.
The clubhouse at Long Tan Golf Club offers top-notch facilities, ensuring a comfortable and memorable visit. The club's commitment to a Japanese management style contributes to its high standards of service and maintenance.
